CHICKEN & BROCCOLI TORTELLINI CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1-1/2 cups half-and-half
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
- 1 (20-oz) package refrigerated mixed cheese tortellini, uncooked (Buitoni)
- 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 4 cups chopped broccoli
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add flour, stirring until smooth.
- Slowly whisk in broth and half-and-half. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. About 6 minutes.
